We'll be showcasing the Year of the Rooster challenge quilts, along with a group of quilts created by Reynola Pakusich...and several more from our great community of quilters.  Can't wait to see some spring quilts in the Garden!

Here is a fun wool applique project Suz designed - a great opportunity to add some stitching embellishments, and of course - you could frame it or make a fresh pillow for spring or a wall hanging.  Great seasonal decor?!

Ready or not it's June!

How did we get here?.... still waiting patiently for summer to arrive amidst all the last minute school activities, graduations, summer weddings and vacation plans? Just be sure to schedule some time for projects you enjoy!

This month's 'pin cushion' is a variation you may just need to take on - recycling a favorite tie that you've been hesitant to get rid of, now has an important purpose as your favorite needle case! Our version uses an western theme necktie, no longer in vogue with the former owner, includes a few pages for needles and pins, and a small pocket for a thimble. We developed a simple pattern - and offer up some ideas for variations to make it your own.
