2014 in review

As we worked to complete our year-end inventory process and consolidate paperwork in preparation for annual taxes (yep, that is what owning a quilt shop is all about...!), we were reminded of some of our completed projects that we have sprinkled out into the world.  Perhaps you were involved in one of these fundraising activities and recognize our projects too?

We donated store samples, gift certificates and store merchandise to a few groups in our area including :
The La Conner Quilt Museum
Blaine Fine Arts Association
The Firs Kids
United Way of Skagit County
Campfire Samish
Habitat for Humanity
Days for Girls
NW Corner Catholic Community Youth Group
Local Quilt Guilds

We know a lot of generous quilters that participate regularly in sewing for various hospitals, shelter's, veteran's and other great causes.  Thanks for doing so much for our community everyone!

And in case you have an extra kids quilt laying around - we are still a drop off location for Project Linus donation quilts.  Check out the details about their requirements on their website.
