We are happy to be wrap up this template of the month program - our final version and a few from our participants are shown here!  For those who have admired our quilt in progress....it is all in one piece now on to some quilting!  The pattern booklet is now available for purchase from Jen Kingwell  and acrylic template sets will also be available soon, we would be happy to special order these items for you.  We also have fat quarter bundles if you love the fabrics and want to create a different project with a similar flavor.  We also have a new acrylic block template set from Jen Kingwell that would look awesome too!

Delilah final count down...

We are close to wrapping up our year-long effort on Delilah, and things will be coming together quickly now.  We have had a couple of photos shared by our customers - and it is ahhh mazing how these blocks change with a tweak of color placement and fabric choice!

We'll be finalizing our quilt in the next few weeks, and we hope to have some show and share from other works in progress - cheers to everyone on the home stretch with this project!

Delilah Month 8

More blocks to add to the stack!  These blocks are 9 inch now, so working a bit smaller and although I've been working on this project for several months, my stack of mis-cuts continues to grow. Somehow, reverse isn't always reversed when I start to assemble the pieces!

We have some other blocks to share and it is great to see what these fabric variations highlight in each block.

Delilah, making progress?

For those of you following our Delilah TOM project, designed by Jen Kingwell - we are making progress!  These are month 7 blocks and the busy combinations continue!  It is amazing to see the variations in the blocks depending on the fabric emphasis for color value placement.  For those of you participating through our shop send us your pictures and we'll add them to our posts! 

These blocks below are featuring Carolyn Friedlander fabrics from Robert Kaufman and the effect is distinctly different!

If you love the variety of these Delilah blocks - you'll be pleased to hear that Jen is planning a pattern/booklet for 2018, watch for updates on it's release in the new year! 

Delilah progress update!

We have received lots of compliments on our Delilah progress - and we have had fun seeing some of the shared by our group of dedicated participants!  Although we are sold out in the subscription for our templates, we've heard from Jen Kingwell there will be a pattern coming in 2018, so if you can wait patiently there will be an option in the future.  However, if you're liking our fabric choices and want to invigorate your stash with some scrappy inspiration - we do have some color stacks available.  The color stacks feature 24 different 9" x 10" pieces (approximately 2 yards) for $21.95.  These stacks are are an eclectic blend of fabrics off our shelves and combine several different fabric collections and styles representative of the entire shop!

You can purchase the color stacks online or stop by the shop and pick your favorite bundle!

Delilah update TOM progress

We are preparing month 5 for our Delilah TOM participants and the project is starting to come together as we combine more blocks.  We've included a few extra photos of participant's blocks - and a collage of our collection of blocks to date. 

We are sold out in the subscription to our templates, however, if you're liking our fabric choices, we do have some color stacks available - you can purchase a fat quarter collection of the background light fabrics - or we have color stacks available.  The color stacks, feature 24 different 9" x 10 " pieces (approximately 2 yards) for $21.95.  These are an eclectic blend of fabrics off our shelves and combine several different fabric collections and styles.

These color stack bundles would be a great way to supplement a scrappy project, or if you're patient - Jen Kingwell will be offering the Delilah project as a pattern sometime later this year or early next.

We will be closed on Tuesday (as well as Monday this week) to celebrate 4th of July and spend some time with family and friends.  We hope you are enjoying some summer travels and activities!  

Delilah update

Here's an update on our progress for Delilah - it's been fun to see these variations from our customer's too.  What a difference color placement makes don't you think?  These first 2 block photos are our latest efforts and the following photos are a selection from our customer's.  Check them out!

Delilah TOM Program is underway!

We have filled all our spots in the Delilah Template of the Month (TOM) program - so now we can focus on getting some blocks done!  This is a scrappy quilt - and some of the blocks are taking ALOT of different fabrics.  Of course, you could repeat fabrics - but we are firm believers that more fabric is better!  Here is our version of month 2 blocks!

And we've got some variety to showcase from some of our participants - Jan went to the dark side with her version and the saturated jewel tones she included really put the emphasis on the geometric shapes don't you think?  

And a collection of Carolyn Friedlander fabrics is getting a workout with these blocks Kami stitched up!

Barbara has been waiting for a reason to dip into her stash of polka dots - and it looks like she has quite the range of colors and sizes of dots to keep this interesting.   

It's going to be fun to see these develop over the course of the year - we'll be showing our blocks off periodically and we'll include some of the variations our customers are creating too so watch for Delilah updates!
