What are you making?
It's that in between time, we've left the holidays behind and are almost back into regular routines and thinking of some lighter, brighter days...we have snowdrops peaking through so you know it won't be long. So a few transitional projects - something fun and easy? These will take you through this next season of chocolate perhaps! Here is an old favorite of ours, using mini-charms it was a fun and quick make. We added some light backgrounds in textured creams and tonal prints - these are homespuns from a few seasons ago featured in this project, but we have some new fun options and pink and chocolate also shown makes for a good combination too.
We created the combination above using some Moda wovens and a few yarn-dyed plaids from Henry Glass. We have some other color combinations too if you're looking to add to a collection of plaids or want a casual throw quilt that is warm and comfy.
This new collection of ginghams overlaid with florals make a great go-with for the plaids and yarn-dyes too!
Some little projects to give a quick finish and/or set you up for success on your next project. We have seen these pattern weights featured a few different times and couldn't resist making up a set (or two) in some of our favorite Cotton & Steel prints. These would make a pretty sweet Valentine for a favorite stitcher if you do make an extra set! Here is the tutorial link
Hope you have plenty of projects to keep you busy - we can't wait to work with all the new fabric lines showing up on the shelves. Hope you treat yourself to a little valentine project soon!

And this little project shown below was great for Christmas stockings, but makes a reappearance now as a cute valentine treat! These lip balm fabric holders fit on a key ring or clip into a backpack or lunch bag perfectly. Do check the dimensions of your favorite lip balm though - no two brands are identical it seems! Here's the tutorial for this project.

Delilah final count down...
We are close to wrapping up our year-long effort on Delilah, and things will be coming together quickly now. We have had a couple of photos shared by our customers - and it is ahhh mazing how these blocks change with a tweak of color placement and fabric choice!

Fresh Start
Are you ready for a new project? We are still counting counting counting as we finish up all the year-end paperwork and inventory requirements, but I would rather be starting a few new projects for 2018! We've got some wonderful new fabric groups - several with a bold color palette to brighten up our rainy winter days.
