Due to Governor imposed restrictions on non-essential business we are closed to the public and only available limited hours for phone and online orders at this time.

This is a tricky time, and I keep hoping for some insight that will let us know when the shop doors will be reopening...and sometimes the more I hear and read indicates it will be alot more complicated than that.  Complying with CDC expectations on social distancing and sanitizing are not easily implemented and we want to act responsibly and ensure we can keep our staff and customers safe and healthy.  So for now, as we continue in isewlation what kind of focus can I put towards a sewing project or five or six?

Of course, there's been mask making, a few projects underway when all this chaos began that got finished...and a few old projects resurrected for a renewed burst of interest.  Sound familiar?  And then...now?  Where to redirect and find the meaningful distraction I need - there are so many possibilities.  All the projects I've wanted to make, the saved photos, pinned items, folded down pages and even a few fabric pulls for specific ideas.  Hmmmm.

There is the Proverbial Quilt Along with Denyse Schmidt...seems like a good idea - I have alot of things to say about the state of Small Business right now, but maybe that would be too big a quilt!  Then there is the not so big Mini Series Sew Along with Alison Glass and Giucy Giuce, that is a little foundation pieced project I think I could round up a few yards of fabric for?!  And of course, there is the 365 Challenge Block-A-Day project by Kathryn Kerr that I thought I was going to tackle earlier this year.

And now with a bit of freedom from shop hours that has allowed some extra time for spring gardening combined with extra daylight hours, maybe I can get it ALL done?!

What projects are you dragging out for a renewed burst of energy and what new projects are you prioritizing on your list?

Happy Stitching!
