1800's Fabric Collection

Our 1800's Reproduction fabric room features a new display! See the connection between antique machinery including antique sewing machines and fabric from the same time period! From 1898, Montgomery Ward & Co. had a ten-year warranty on their sewing machines. This new display is brought to us by Jane, who shared this combination of vintage and salvaged items at the Farm and Tractor show this past summer. Come take a look!  It's fun to compare some of these original antique fabrics with what's on our shelves today...!

Retreat Bag & New Fabric

https://emmalinebags.com/products/the-retreat-bag-pdf

We had a bit of fun sewing some new versions of the Emmaline retreat bag - it's hard to pick just one fabric combination, so it really is easier to make these bags in multiples so you can use all your favorite fabric choices!  We have the metal frames in stock for both size options and the pattern is a free tutorial on the Emmaline website.  We have lots of new cheerful fabric that will stitch up into some bright and fun bags to make for yourself or a lucky friend!

And... this is just a hint of some of the new fabrics we've added to the Repro Room....the results of our latest fabric shuffle shown below - but still a big work in progress!  This could become your latest  favorite hangout spot!  Our ever growing collection of reproduction fabrics has filled the space, but we figure there's always room for a few more bolts right?  Stop by soon and check out our new arrangement - we're still settling in, but we're getting to the fine-tuning stage and most of the tools and construction team have moved offsite again!
