We've got a few classes still in the works, but wanted to start spreading the word on these sessions on the calendar so far. We look forward to reclaiming our classroom - a bit less 'sweat shop' and more creative space is the goal for the fall sewing season! Scrap Science Club

Tonya Alexander
Join Tonya for a 3 month series in the scrap lab (aka Two Thimbles classroom)! Tonya will share Stash Lab scrap results and include her analysis and theory on the power of contrast, creating color-blocks and developing color stories! Each session will include project ideas, block instruction, activities and sew-time to build fabric confidence. The club will be a casual learning environment with an emphasis on fun and sharing - you won't want to miss this chance to get some great ideas to bust the scrap bucket!

Imagine Your Design
with Jane Buys
Create your own project and build a quilt during this 6-month class series combining multiple techniques (applique, English paper piecing, patchwork, etc.)! Start with what inspires you; a vintage quilt, fabulous fabric, or a special focal block and then design a unique project as-you-go. Class time will include show and tell and individual consultation with guidance for design possibilities. Inspiration and motivation to help you personalize and design a quilt that's just as you envision it!
3rd Tuesday of each month for six months beginning October 16, 2018.

8-Point Star
with Jane Buys
Join Jane for this 3 month series where she'll share her tips and tricks for combining points and assembly methods for the sometimes-tricky-to-tackle 8-point star! This class allows you to choose your own pattern and design (Carpenter's Star, Lone Star or Le Moyne Star are some examples) and construction method (hand stitch, machine stitch or English techniques). This class is appropriate for quilters with some prior handwork experience.
Last Wednesday of each month for three months beginning September 26, 2018.
