What to make next?

The list of just what to make next is getting longer, not shorter...how about for you?  We just received a few new, perfect for wearables, substrates to add to our growing collection.  The black and white/cream Kokka fabrics are super light weight in sateen and lawn - a simple shirt for this hot weather seems like a good idea!  The solids are the brussels washer linen, a blend of linen and rayon that is drapey and soft after washing.  Great for cool pants and dresses.

Of course the rayon fabrics would look amazing in the Charlie pattern, shown below....

And once the weather cools - this jacket in the Outback Wife bark cloth is going to be a staple item.  This pattern is a pdf download that was fun to stitch up - it is the Sapporo Coat from Paper Cut Patterns.

We think this little knit sleeper would be pretty comfy - maybe it wouldn't be so cute in adult size, but we're tempted!  Pajama/lounge pants in these soft knits or in the rayon prints would be pretty awesome too. You can find the free pattern for this newborn sleeper from stitched-together - we've linked it on our pinterest board Just follow This Link

Knit Newborn Sleeper

This Range Backpack is heading off to school this fall with someone special - don't think she'll have to worry about finding her bag in amongst all the boring solid color bags out there!  The Noodlehead patterns have great instructions and diagrams - great references for all the hardware and they are rewarding to put together.  I used some of the navy blue cork on the base of this bag for some added durability and texture.

Hope your summer days include something fun to sew!
