We will be closed on Saturday July 4th 2020
We are currently open by appointment Tuesday through Saturday
(except this Saturday the 4th)!
We will expand the appointment offerings if needed, so please let us know if you have tried to book and no appointments were available! This method provides an opportunity for some of our more vulnerable customers to feel confident in their shop experience while also limiting the exposure and responsibilities for our team.
We have implemented a few changes to our shop layout and business practices to help maintain social distancing, upgraded sanitizing efforts and require that all customers wear facial coverings for the duration of their visit. We appreciate everyone doing their part to take care of our community - we certainly don't want to backtrack on the progress we've made.
We appreciate your ongoing patronage and look forward to seeing you in the shop soon!
We are available Tuesday through Saturday from 10am - 4pm

It's berry season for sure here in Whatcom County, but on the eastside of the state, it's all about the cherries! This table runner was requested for a new home and was a fun distraction from mask making!
These cheerful prints from the Cherry Lemonade collection make great kitchen accessories, and I've had a few customers choose the florals for face masks too....and then there is this fresh quilt kit all ready to go if you want a larger project!

We just received this indigo kantha cloth - pre-stitched layers for a great bag, pillow or summer jacket or infinity scarf perhaps?!

A few more additions to our Charley Harper collection of fabrics - these are poplin and the weave and density of these fabrics make them a really nice weight for summer loungewear, and pillowcases...you may see a few of these prints featured in masks around town too - a fun choice when you want to make a statement with our latest fashion accessory!

A recent group added to 1800's collection is the gorgeous floral grouping Wildflower Woods designed for the period c. 1870-85, by Evonne Cook for P&B Studios. These designs were inspired by the works of Gene Stratton Porter, an environmentalist, author, naturalist and photographer ahead of her time. You can read about Gene and the Indiana State Museum site named in her honor here:
